Christian Aid Week 2019

Christian Aid Week 2019 took place between 12th and 18th May.

There were lots of opportunities to get involved, as can be seen from the list of some of the events below - and we are delighted to be able to report that nearly £14,000 was raised for Christian Aid across the whole of Dorchester and District: THANK YOU!

There is still time to make a donation: just visit Christian Aid Week, and use the Donate button.

Sunday 12 - Saturday 18 May: House-to-House Collecting

Each year more and more people world-wide need our donations to save them from poverty's starvation and homelessness. As well as tackling the immediate effects of natural disasters they help people to become self-reliant - 'a hand up not a hand-out'.

However, we desperately need more house to house collectors. Please consider, prayerfully, about helping during Christian Aid Week (May 12-18). Even if you target a few houses it can make a tremendous difference!
