For all Services, please see the Diary

Please also see the Church Newsletter for other advertised events

Coming up soon:

Sunday 23 June, 2.00 – 4.00pm: Sewing afternoon

Another opportunity to support girls in Kenya – the materials being created will help provide much needed resources for girls who cannot otherwise afford them. Someof the poorest girls in Kenya are being helped by this project, which supplies them with washable towels and pants, thus avoiding their missing school one week in every four. Schools identify those girls most in need, and they are given healthcare information when the towels are distributed.

Even if you feel sewing is not your thing, please come along and help with other activities that are critical to the production process!

Saturday 6 July, 10.00am – 12.00noon: Coffee Morning

Dorchester Poverty Action is holding a coffee morning to raise funds that will directly benefit local people in need. There will be stalls, a raffle and homemade cakes.

Everyone will be welcome!

Saturdays 6 and 13 July, 10.00am – 12.30pm: Worship Seminars

An opportunity to think about why we worship, how to make the most of our worship together, andif you are someone who is called to lead, to improve your confidence and skills in leading worship.

These seminars are suitable for anyone who ever comes to church – and you will get the most out of the opportunity if you come to both sessions.

Contact Rev Sally Spencer for more information, or to sign up.

Saturday 13 July, 2.00 - 5.00pm: Country Tea Dance

As part of the celebrations to mark the 150th year of Action for Children, there will be a Country Tea Dance in the United Church Hall.

Tea, coffee and homemade cakes will also be provided in the interval. Entry is free, and all donations will go towards the work of Action for Children in Dorset.
