Tools with a Mission
Tools With A Mission enables people to earn a living and to support themselves.
In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid-dependency to self-sufficiency is impossible without help. |
|
TWAM started over 25 years ago, and has since then given this help by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required in the UK and sending them overseas. |
Last year over 434 separate organisations benefited from aid shipped from TWAM's warehouse in Ipswich. |
How you can provide direct help Give your tools a new life and a person a new life, rather than taking the tools to the tip. We gratefully receive all tools, which you no linger use (carpentry, plumbing, car mechanics, electrical, etc) as well as knitting and sewing machines, and all their related accessories - material, needles, pins, buttons, zips, cottons etc. Tools can be old, as they will be refurbished, but we cannot accept anything with woodworm. If you would like to volunteer to collect tools, please get in touch. |
