All about our servicesAs our name suggests we are a union of two churches and our roots lie in both the Methodist Church and United Reformed Church traditions. However, people from other traditions have also found their home here. As a Christian community we welcome everyone because God loves all people. We value our diversity. Whatever our age, background, culture, gender or race, we each have something special to share with others. We try to provide a programme of work, worship and witness that is family-friendly and embracing of all ages. Our aim is to provide the conditions in which faith can come alive and grow. |

A prayer for this month
God of all hope we call on you today. We pray for those who are living in fear: fear of illness, fear for loved ones, fear of other’s reactions to them. May your Spirit give us a sense of calmness and peace. We pray for your church in this time of uncertainty. For those needing to make decisions in order to care for others. For those who will feel more isolated by not being able to attend worship. Grant us your wisdom. Holy God, we remember that you have promised that nothing will separate us from your love – demonstrated to us in Jesus Christ. Help us turn our eyes, hearts and mind to you. Amen
