Requests for help

Journey to the Stable
We will be needing people to help with the school visits and the public openings (see the latest News sheet for the full list of dates). We are also looking for people on school visit days who would be willing to dress up and be in the stable as Mary and Joseph, which will add to the children’s experience. Full details are on the December News Sheet - please see Peter Jenner if you are able to help.

Volunteer roles within UCD
UCD Members are invited to apply for either of the following roles, both of which are voluntary and very important to the life of the church:

1. Church Steward
2. Lettings Officer

For more details, please contact Michael Humphrey (Church Secretary)

World Church Mission Boxes
If any UCD members would like a collection box for our World Church Mission, please speak to Colin Gannaway (UCD Treasurer), as we would be delighted to have new contributors to this important part of our church life.

Coffee Lounge
Help is needed once a month with serving coffees and welcoming visitors to the Coffee Lounge on Tuesday morning. It is a pleasant way to spend the morning and a wonderful way to meet other members and visitors to Dorchester. Help is needed from 9 am to 12.30, it is truly not arduous - please see Elizabeth Haynes for more information.

Wednesday Maket Service Stewarding
Help is needed with Stewarding the Wednesday Market Service.  This is once a month, from 10.15 to 11.15, though if there were more volunteers it could be less often.  This is a simple but important service, giving a warm welcome to our visitors, it is also a good way to meet other members and outside visitors to the church. Please see Elizabeth Haynes for more information.
