United Church Dorchester

WELCOME! As our name suggests we are a union of two churches and our roots lie in both the Methodist Church and United Reformed Church traditions. However, people from other traditions have also found their home here.

As a Christian community we welcome everyone because God loves all people. We value our diversity.  Whatever our age, background, culture, gender or race, we each have something special to share with others.

Baby Loss Service
Saying Goodbye (part of the Mariposa Trust) are returning to Wimborne with a Baby loss remembrance and support service. It will take place  on 10 July at 3.30pm.

The Mariposa Trust's core objective is to support people who have lost babies at any stage of pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy. With over 258,000 babies being lost yearly in the UK alone, the charity offers not only a comprehensive package of befriending and support but also national baby loss remembrance services (called Saying Goodbye Services), for people to join together and remember the children they had lost.
