Quiet Christmas Service - ideal for those who want to celebrate Christmas quietly.
Do you struggle to cope with a full church service, but want to sing carols, listen to the familiar readings that tell the Christmas story and share the joy and peace of Christmas with family and friends?
Then Quiet Christmas is the service for you. It will last for around 30 minutes, and is aimed at people who have recently been bereaved, who find concentrating for a long time difficult, or who can be confused in the present but have good memories of Christmases past. It will be followed by Christmas refreshments in the church. All our welcome, including carers and friends.
Our services now take place without specific Covid-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, the wearing of masks around the building, or during services, remains a matter of personal choice; and hand gel will be available for 'self-service' use by those who so wish.
