News & Events: Events @ UCD
The United Church Dorchester has traditionally hosted many events for the church, supported charities and the local community - please see below for information about events in the near future. For all Church Services, please see the Services Diary Please also see the Church News sheet for other advertised events
Notice for all users: access to United Church Dorchester Due to the Fire in South Street, it is currently only possible to enter United Church Dorchester from the Coffee #1 end of South Street, or preferably via our Charles Street entrance opposite the Library. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the Gorge’s building fire, especially the owners. We've taken the difficult decision to cancel our planned Music and Mince Pies event in support of the Cracker Day in Dorchester on Sunday 15th December. We encourage our members and visitors to engage in the Cracker Day events at the High Street end of South Street, avoiding the cordoned-off area of South Street near United Church. We have also now had to cancel the AfC Carol singing - please see our Christmas information page for more details.
Fridays, 9.00am – 12.00 noon: Dorchester Country Market Dorchester Country Market is now takes place every Friday morning from 9am until 12noon in the Main Hall at United Church Dorchester – please enter via the Charles Street Entrance at the rear of the building, opposite the Library. Do come along for home made baked goods, preserves, plants and a huge range of crafts – all sold by the makers and producers at our local market.
