Saturday 16 November, 10.00am – 12.00noon: Christmas Sale Come and get your Christmas presents early: unique Christmas Crafts, Cakes, ‘nearly new’ gifts, Books, Bric-a-Brac and the chance to win a Christmas Hamper. Full refreshments available with tea, coffee, bacon butties and mince pies! All proceeds go to Wheels for the World, UCD’s World Church Project charity for the year. THANK YOU to all who supported this event: over £900 was raised!
Saturday 30th November, 7.30pm: Encore Singers Concert The ever-popular Encore Singers will be performing in the United Church on November 30th, at 7:30pm. Joining the choir for this concert are the local solo singers Anna-Maria Geare and Alex Best. Come and enjoy a mix of favourites from the shows and some Christmas tunes! Entry is free, but there will be a retiring collection - the concert will be raising money for local charity Shine21, which assists families with children affected by Down's Syndrome.
Fridays, 9.00am – 12.00 noon: Dorchester Country Market Dorchester Country Market is now takes place every Friday morning from 9am until 12noon in the Main Hall at United Church Dorchester – please enter via the Charles Street Entrance at the rear of the building, opposite the Library. Do come along for home made baked goods, preserves, plants and a huge range of crafts – all sold by the makers and producers at our local market.
